Edita Grolman

 
Edita Grolman is a Ph.D. student in the department of Software and Information Systems Engineering at Ben-Gurion University (BGU) of the Negev and a data scientist and project manager at the Telekom Innovation Laboratories at BGU.

She received her M.Sc. in the department of Software and Information Systems Engineering with Specialization in Machine Learning and Big Data Analytics via the fast track for excellent students from Ben-Gurion University.

Her main areas of interest are development and analysis of machine learning and data mining algorithms and their applications in recommender systems, information retrieval, and cybersecurity.

Her thesis focuses on transfer learning techniques, which are meant to address the problem of lack of data availability.

She won an award from the ministry of science & technology of Israel for applicable and practical Ph.D. research, and Ph.D. award for research achievements from Kreitman “Negev" Fellowship at the Ben-Gurion University of the Negev.
